In this video, we take a look at the popular Remtronix REM-820S Antenna and compare it to the ProComm Spider Base Scanner Antenna. 

REM-820S Specs – 

    700~900MHz UHF Band

    Flexible Whip Rubber Ducky

    Great improvement over factory standard antenna

    SMA Connector (Standard SMA)

    Rubber o-ring to keep the SDS100 waterproof.

ProComm Spider Specs – 

    Broadband Coverage: 30-1200 MHz

    Citizens Band: 26.9-27.4 MHz

    Mast Requirements: 1-1/4 to 2-Inch Pipe

    Antenna Connection: UHF-Female (SO-239)

    Coax Type: RG58

    Coax Cable Length: 50 Feet

    Coax Connector: BNC Male
